Google Android vulnerable to malicious application

This is in fact the first such app found on Android and it comes in the guise of the popular Madden NFL 12 game.

Kaspersky's Mobile security researcher Denis Maslennikov has found a malicious application that affects Android smartphones. The app is actually an Internet Relay Chat bot that runs automated tasks over the internet. This is in fact the first such app found on Android and it comes in the guise of the popular Madden NFL 12 game.

When an Android smartphone user downloads and installs the popular game or application from lesser-known third party app stores, the IRC bot quietly gets installed in the device.
Maslennikov explains that after the app is installed, the malware, disguised as Madden NFL 12, aims to take complete control of the device. Once the malware gets root (administrator level) access, the IRC bot gets installed along with an SMS Trojan. The root access allows the attacker to control the smartphone remotely and send an SMS to a premium rate number and thereby increase cost for the user.
All this is in the background and the user has no clue of what is happening to the credit balance. The premium rate numbers are usually international numbers, hence SMSes to these numbers cost a lot.
The IRC bot connects to any random remote IRC server with a random nickname. Once connected, the IRC bot becomes capable of receiving shell commands to perform specific functions on the device. In this entire attack, the malicious app needs to gain root access to perform nefarious tasks. If your device is not rooted, or if it is rooted through proper methods, there is nothing to worry about.
As always, users are recommended to download apps only from reputed and verified app stores such as Android Market, Amazon App Store and Getjar. Applications from an unknown location can prove to be dangerous.
Needless to say, this premise depends on one thing — if the phone is rooted and that with an outdated code. Unless you are an advanced user we recommend not rooting the smartphone© 2010-2012 The Little Ganesha® All Rights Reserved.

Samsung has released white versions of several of the company’s mobile devices lately. While the back of the various devices would be white, the front bezel around the screen typically remained black — that is, until now.  It would appear that Samsung has been working on a white bezel to integrate into the company’s future milky-colored devices;  a white Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus have emerged in Vietnam and feature truly all white design. The specs of the Tab 10.1 and Tab 7.0 Plus remain unchanged, reports claim. No pricing or availability details have been announced.© 2010-2012 The Little Ganesha® All Rights Reserved. Top 10 Most Haunted Places In The World

1/The Myrtles Plantation-St. Francisville, Louisiana

The Myrtles Plantation is an antebellum plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana, near Baton Rouge. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the plantation is a bed and breakfast, and it offers historical and mystery tours.
Built in 1796 by General David Bradford, this stately old home on Myrtles Plantation is said to be haunted be several restless ghosts. Some researchers say as many as ten murders have been committed there, but others, such as Troy Taylor and David Wisehart, have only been able to confirm one murder at Myrtles. There are three ghosts that are seen over and over inside of the hotel. The first is a French woman that seems to wander from room to room in search of something. No one knows what it is that she is in search for. The second ghost sighting that is seen on a regular basis includes a ghost at the grand piano that practices one chord over and over again and the third ghost that is frequently seen, is a young girl who is only appears before the onset of a thunderstorm.
There are many other stories that go along with the plantation and the guests that have visited the hotel. Of course, these stories come with some level of skepticism but there have been documented pictures and videos of the ghosts that are said to haunt the hotel. If you are brave enough, you could simply book a night at the hotel, hope for a thunderstorm and do some investigating of your own!Via ghosteyes

Thomas A. Becket is “the first reported sighting of a ghost at the Tower of London.”During the construction on the Inner Curtain Wall, Thomas appeared apparently unhappy about the construction, and it is said he reduced the wall to rubble with a strike of his cross. Henry III’s grandfather was responsible for the death of Thomas Becket, so Henry III wasted no time building a chapel in the Tower of London, naming it for the archbishop. This must have pleased Thomas’ ghost because there were no further interruptions during the construction of the wall.
The Bloody Tower was the scene of the infamous disappearance of the two princes; Edward V (12) and Richard Duke of York (10), who are thought to have been murdered in 1483 on the probable command of the Duke of Gloucestershire, who was to be crowned Richard the III.According to one story, guards in the late 15th century, who were passing the Bloody Tower, spotted the shadows of two small figures gliding down the stairs still wearing the white night shirts they had on the night they disappeared. They stood silently, hand in hand, before fading back into the stones of the Bloody Tower. These figures were identified as the ghosts of the two princes. In 1674 workmen found a chest that contained the skeletons of two young children, they were thought to be the remains of the princess, and were given a royal burial not long afterwards. The story of the little princes is still to this day a heartbreaking story. They are “among the most poignant ghosts” in the Tower of London.View more

Agitating Air India pilots call of stir

The stir by a section of Air India pilots which led to cancellation of 52 flights was called off on Saturday evening after the state-owned airline reportedly assured them that their pending salary and allowances would be cleared in phases before March. "Things have been sorted out. The management has assured us that they would pay a part of due allowances by 20th of this month, a part of rest by 20th February and clear our dues by March," AS Bhinder, President of Indian Commercial Pilot's Association -- an association of erstwhile Indian Airlines pilots, said.

The pilots would resume their duties, he added.
Protesting non-payment of their salary and allowances, a section of Air India pilots went on a "no-pay-no-work" agitation from midnight on Friday.
A total of 52 flights, 44 from Delhi and eight from Mumbai, were cancelled causing inconvenience to hundreds of passengers.
Top ICPA leaders--President Bhinder and General Secretary Rishabh Kapur--had two rounds of discussion with Air India CMD Rohit Nandan and top officials till late tonight.
They pointed out that the payment of productivity-linked incentive (PLI) and flying allowances have been pending since last August, sources said.
The flying allowances constitute 80% of the pay package. The airline management today paid the pilots their due salary of November 2011.
While most of the long-haul international flights to destinations like London, New York, Toronto, Tokyo and Chicago operated as scheduled, flights to or from Kabul, Kathmandu, Muscat and Abu Dhabi remained cancelled.
Confusion prevailed at the IGI Airport here with a large number of passengers queueing up at Air India counters to find out the status of their flights as several domestic flights were delayed and some others combined.
Sympathising with the pilots, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh said "the employees have a problem, they have not been paid for one-two months. Allowances have not been paid for quite a few months now. We understand their problem but Air India's finances are in a bad condition. Their accounts were frozen yesterday (Friday)."
Singh said he would meet finance minister Pranab Mukherjee next week over the Air India issue.
"By the end of next week, may be we will be able to pay...I won't say all the allowances and salaries will be paid but most of it should be paid," he said, adding Air India had a long term financial problem.
Most of the flights cancelled were operated by Airbus A-320s, whereas operations by turbo-prop ATRs, Canadian Regional Jets and the long-haul Boeings continued as usual, airline sources said.
The agitating pilots reported for duty but said they were under stress due to the financial problems they were facing and therefore unable to undertake flight duties, airline sources said.
The ICPA, which has not given a call for the agitation, appealed to the agitators to return to work.

9.55 Umesh continues and it will be last over before lunch. Warner on strike. Warner whips the ball to the fine-leg and takes a single and moves to 155. Australia 254 for three. Well stopped by Sehwag in the gully and Clarke takes a single and Australia to 255 for three. Umesh now comes over the wicket to Warner. Warner takes a single of the fifth ball of 49th over. Australia moves to 256 for three. And it remains at 256 for three.

Ponting plays a very good shot through the point and gets his first four of the innings which takes him to 7 and Australia to 242 for 2. Beautiful delivery from Umesh. A fuller length ball and Ponting plays carefully. Umesh strikes once again and it is now Ponting. The ball just scrapes through his defence and Ponting is comprehensive bowled. Umesh is on song. Australia 242 for 3. Umesh has taken all the wickets that has fallen in the morning. One wonders why Dhoni has not given the ball to him to share with Zaheer.
9.30 Vinay Kumar continues. Warner plays the first ball of the next over to the mid-wicket and takes a comfortable two runs. Beaufitul delivery from Vinay and Warner pushes the ball to the long-off and takes a single. Now crowd eagerly awaits as Ponting takes strike. Lucky four runs for Marsh as the ball misses the stumps by inches and the ball races to the boundary. Umesh gets his second wicket of the morning and Marsh is gone. Laxman in the slips takes a good catch and India takes their second wicket and it is 230 for 2. Marsh poor form in the series continues....
9.25 Vinay Kumar continues and Warner on strike. Warner takes an easy single of the first ball and moves to 139. It is 225 for one for Australia. At the 3end of 42 overs Australia remains at 225 for one and good over from Vinay Kumar.
9.20 Umesh Yadav continues and Marsh on strike. Marsh glides the ball through the on-side for his first boundary. Australia moves to 222 for 1 (double Nelson). Umesh now comes over the wicket for Marsh. Interesting indeed. This is the highest score for Marsh (5) in this series. Another bad delivery and Marsh guides the ball on the on-side and takes a couple of runs to move on to 7. Australia 224 for one.
9.10 Dhoni brings in Vinay Kumar with Warner on strike. Kohli fields the next ball at point. Vinay brings the ball in to Warner and the ball skids through and hits Warner and the physio is on the field to assist him. Warner is ready after getting treatment in his elbow. Warner smashes the next ball for three runs and Australia moves to 217 for 1. It brings Marsh, the local boy, on strike. Marsh is off the mark and Australia moves to 218 for 1. (Warner 138, Marsh 1).
It is Shaun Marsh at no.3. He is not in good form. Will this break brings the Indians back in the game. A good over from Umesh Yadav as he gets a wicket. It is 214 for 1.
9.05 Will the drinks break bring fortunes for India? It is Umesh Yadav and Warner on strike. Warner smashes the short pitched delivery through the point for a boundary. Warner taps the next ball to the point for a single and he moves to 135 and Cowan on 74. Australia 214 for no loss. At last it is a breakthrough for India and Cowan goes. Umesh Yadav brings the ball in and Cowan tries to play it on the offside but gets an inside edge and the ball goes through to hit the stumps. It is 214 for 1.
8.58 Cowan plays the first ball of Sehwag's over for a boundary. Cowan moves to 73. Sehwag appeals and umpire is unmoved. Cowan cuts the next ball to deep point and takes a single. 8.45 Zaheer the best bowler in the Indian attack continues. What a nightmare for the bowler, Kohli drops a sitter. The ball just angling in and takes the outside edge and Kohli a good fielder drops a sitter. Warner survives. Zaheer bowling beautifully bears the brunt. Indian agony continues..... Warner drives firmly straight to Gambhir at covers. An eventful over from Zaheer and Australia remains at 193 for no loss.
8.43 Dhoni brings Sehwag into the attack. Interesting change. Are Indians really missing Ashwin or Ojha? Cowan plays a shot to fine leg and takes a couple of runs and he moves on to 58 and Australia to 189 for no loss. Widish delivery and Cowan cuts the ball through the point for a boundary. It is indeed a bad ball bowling outside the off stump giving width for the batsman. At the end of 34 overs it is 193 for no loss with Cowan on 62 and Warner on 126.
8.40 With the way Australians are batting, Dhoni has to rethink his strategies. Zaheer continues and Cowan on strike. Outside edge and doesn't carry to Sehwag at gully. Wonderful delivery from Zaheer. Zaheer induces Cowan to play the shot and the ball misses the outside edge. Next ball Cowan glances the ball to the fine leg and takes a single. Australia 187 for no loss. Well bowled by Zaheer and a very good over.
8.35 Ishant continues and Wwarner plays the ball on the off-side and Gambhir stops the ball by diving to his left. Ishant bowls a probing length to Cowan in this over. 8.25 Ishant to continue and Warner on strike. Ishant now coming around the wickets. Warner smashes the first ball of over to the mid-off boundary for a beautiful six. It is his third six of the innings. Warners plays the next ball to the mid-on and takes a quick single and moves on to 122. 8.20 Zaheer continues and Cowan on strike. Zaheer bowls a probing length to Cowan. Cowan plays a shot through point and reaches his half-century. It is the second fifty of Cowan's career. Just two runs of the over and it is 170 for no loss.
8.15 It is Warner on strike and Ishant continues. Good delivery to start the over from Ishant. Good delivery, good leave and good carry to the keeper Dhoni. Indians are bowling much better this morning but they have to bowl in the right areas to get wickets. Warner smashes the next ball through the mid-off boundary for a four. An interesting statistics Australia has scored more than 500 runs without losing a wicket since Sydney Test match. At the end of 28 overs it is 168 for no loss with Warner on 115 and Cowan on 48.
8.10 Zaheer continues and Warner goes through with the shot and it beats the point fielder to reach the bounday. Warner scores his first boundary of the morning and moves to 108. An outswinger to the left-hander. Indian bowlers has to attack on the first session. Cowan just taps the ball to the square leg and Zaheer fields. Cowan takes couple of runs and moves on to 48. Australia moves to 157 for no loss.

Cowan just taps Zaheer on the on-side for a single. Zaheer just angles the ball into Warner and he just plays it safely to the point fielder. Australia remains at 155 for no loss.
8.00 Ishant starts the proceedings with Cowan on strike. Australia trails by just 12 runs. Beautiful delivery from Ishant just hitting the bat and first run taken of the morning and Cowan moves to 41. and it is 150 for Australia. Australia remains 150 for no loss.
The plays starts with the players are in the ground.
An interesting tweet from Manikantan Menon is "Are we still alive".
We will wait and see. The game starts exactly at 8.00 a.m. IST.
A PTI report quoted Lara as saying on Indian captain Dhoni “I think he deserves a chance. He had success in the World Cup, the T20 World Cup, and the 50 over games. I think given his achievements so far, he deserves another chance and everyone should come out and support him.”
Will it be a repeat of Melbourne and Sydney or be different. Millions of Indian fans expect a turnaround by this beleaguered side. Can the Indian bowlers led by Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma skittle out Australia early and try to make a match of it. Or will it be the same old story of Australia decimating India as happened in Melbourne and Sydney. India having lost 6 matches abroad including four in England will have to make a match out of this.
An interesting statistics. Australia has scored more than 700 runs losing only a wicket right from the Sydney Test till Day one of Perth Test.
Premjit Lakshminarayan says "Is this a T-20 game ? M.S why wait till 2013 ? What about the golden oldies retirement plans. Rohit Sharma - wait for only few more years please."
Let us have a look of what happened on Day one as a slideshow.
Australia takes the first day's honours convincingly having bowled out India for a meagre 161. In reply, David Warner makes a stunning century and Australia at close were 149 for no loss. You want to have a look at Day one proceedings click here.

Ten killed in stampede

At least 10 people were killed when a stampede broke out in Hussain Tekri near Jaora town in the district on the occasion of Chellum, a Muslim religious observation that comes after Moharram.
The stamped broke out when a huge crowd gathered at Hussain Tekri’s main entry to take part in Chehllum were pushed backward by the police to regulate their entry after midnight.
“Six women and four men were killed in the incident,” Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Vyas said, adding they were crushed under the weight of many persons present at the spot.
While bodies of 10 persons were found at one place, two others were traced slightly away from the place where the incident took place.
However, police suspect that they might have succumbed due to severe cold.
Usually, persons suffering from mental illness visit the place with a belief that the visit to the sacred place will cure them of their problems.
Ratlam Collector R.K. Sharma has ordered a magisterial probe into the incident and announced as ex-gratia of Rs 10,000 each to the victims.

The Ozone Hole

The Ozone Hole
For nearly a billion years, ozone molecules in the atmosphere have protected life on Earth from the effects of ultraviolet rays.

The ozone layer resides in the stratosphere and surrounds the entire Earth. UV-B radiation (280- to 315- nanometer (nm) wavelength) from the Sun is partially absorbed in this layer. As a result, the amount of UV-B reaching Earth’s surface is greatly reduced. UV-A (315- to 400-nm wavelength) and other solar radiation are not strongly absorbed by the ozone layer. Human exposure to UV-B increases the risk of skin cancer, cataracts, and a suppressed immune system. UV-B exposure can also damage terrestrial plant life, single cell organisms, and aquatic ecosystems.

In the past 60 years or so human activity has contributed to the deterioration of the ozone layer.
NASA Graphic

Only 10 or less of every million molecules of air are ozone. The majority of these ozone molecules resides in a layer between 10 and 40 kilometers (6 and 25 miles) above the Earth's surface in  the stratosphere.
Each spring in the stratosphere over Antarctica (Spring in the southern hemisphere is from September through November.), atmospheric ozone is rapidly destroyed by chemical processes.
As winter arrives, a vortex of winds develops around the pole and isolates the polar stratosphere. When temperatures drop below -78°C (-109°F), thin clouds form of ice, nitric acid, and sulphuric acid mixtures. Chemical reactions on the surfaces of ice crystals in the clouds release active forms of CFCs. Ozone depletion begins, and the ozone “hole” appears.
Over the course of two to three months, approximately 50% of the total column amount of ozone in the atmosphere disappears. At some levels, the losses approach 90%. This has come to be called the Antarctic ozone hole.
In spring, temperatures begin to rise, the ice evaporates, and the ozone layer starts to recover.

The Antarctic ozone hole was discovered in 1985 by British scientists Joesph Farman, Brian Gardiner, and Jonathan Shanklin of the British Antarctic Survey.
The ozone "hole" is really a reduction in concentrations of ozone high above the earth in the stratosphere. The ozone hole is defined geographically as the area wherein the total ozone amount is less than 220 Dobson Units. The ozone hole has steadily grown in size (up to 27 million sq. km.) and length of existence (from August through early December) over the past two decades.

After a series of rigorous meetings and negotiations, the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was finally agreed upon on 16 september 1987 at the Headquarters of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal.

The Montreal Protocol stipulates that the production and consumption of compounds that deplete ozone in the stratosphere--chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs),  halons, carbon tetrachloride, and methyl chloroform--are to be phased out by 2000 (2005 for methyl chloroform). Scientific theory and evidence suggest that, once emitted to the atmosphere, these compounds could significantly deplete the stratospheric ozone layer that shields the planet from damaging UV-B radiation.

Man-made chlorines, primarily chloroflourobcarbons (CFCs), contribute to the thinning of the ozone layer and allow larger quantities of harmful ultraviolet rays to reach the earth.
Consumption of ozone depleting substances expressed as million tonnes of ozone depletion potential (ODP), 1989-2009.
ODP is a number that refers to the amount of ozone depletion caused by a chemical substance. Consumption of ozone depleting substances has largely been reduced in the past 20 years. Life Insurance Policy Claims

Life Insurance Policy
Life insurance policies are taken with the idea of providing financial security to the family which is dependent on them. Sometimes making claims becomes problematic if some details are not given to the insurance company. This causes problems to the nominees to claim the amount.
Generally people who take insurance policies do not fill the applications form personally. Many times people do not even read the insurance forms though these are very important for the life. Many a people do not even know that there will be questions in the application form about health and habits of the policy holder. Insurance agents write ‘not applicable’ opposite to many such questions. Thinks like this make a problem while making a claim in unfortunate situations. There are many reasons for the insurance claim to be rejected.
  • Number of insurance policies has increased in the recent times. This has increased the number of claims. For 90% insurance claim rejections, keeping the health details secret is the main reason. If the policy claim is rejected for these reasons, there will not be any advantage even if the ombudsmen or consumer forums are approached. If the policy amount is more than Rs. 10 lakhs and the policy holder is dead within three years from taking the policy, insurance companies search for defects.
  • Many people have a misconception that policy will not be given if the details of ill-health of bad habits are provided in the application form. But this is not true. Any insurance company will try to increase the business. They will only ask the applicants to undergo some more medical tests.
Expired Insurance Policies
Claims will be accepted only when the life insurance policy is in implementation. If the premium is not paid on time, the policy will get expired. Claim will be rejected if the policy holder dies, disappears before renewing the policy. Expired policies can be renewed up to five years if the policy holder is alive. Late fee can be paid for renewal of the policy.
Some people do not even inform to even their family members about the insurance policies. If the policy holder dies, the family members may not even know to claim the money till the insurance company sends some information. If the nominees have shifted to another house or city, this chance also will not be there. Premium paid till then will get wasted.
  • Policy holders should inform the insurance company about the policies that are already taken.
  • People are now-a-days taking term policies online. There will not be any documents in this electronic method. All the details of the policies will be sent to the policy holder’s e-mail address.
  • Even if the policy is taken online it is important to take the printout of it.
Rejection of Insurance claim
If the insurance claim is rejected then the nominees can request for revision of the application within 30 days from the date of rejection. Every insurance company is setting up service centers to solve the problem of policy holders. If the nominee feels that the claim is rejected baselessly they can make a complaint to the insurance ombudsmen.

Insurance Policy Precautions

When the head of the family who is the earning member dies, it will be difficult for the family members to make rounds to the insurance companies. Some precautions are to be taken to avoid these problems.
  • Insurance policy proposal form is to be studied completely and the applicant should personally fill the proposal form.
  • Do not ever forget to write the name of the nominee. This is important to avoid conflicts between heirs. This will also avoid problems in claiming the amount.
  • Insurance policy should be carefully kept. Inform the details to family members.
  • If the policy papers are given to anybody. Take a Xerox copy of the policy and take acknowledgement.
  • If the insurance policy is missing or damaged inform immediately to the insurance company.
  • If there is any problem in paying the premium and the policy is expired, renew it as early as possible.
  • Do not forget to inform the change of address to the insurance company. Phone number and e-mail address are to be given to the insurance companies.
  • If medical tests are compulsory to take any policy personally go to the doctor. Take care that the agent enters the details like height and weight correctly.

Magnetic Hill,Leh

Imagine a vehicle moving up a steep mountain with its ignition off!

A hill near picturesque Leh has magnetic properties which attracts metallic objects, making vehicles move up at a speed of about 20 km per hour with the engines off.

The “magnetic hill” is located on the Leh-Kargil-Baltik national highway, about 30 km from Leh, at a height of 14,000 feet above sea level. On its eastern side, flows the Sindhu, which originates in Tibet and goes to Pakistan.A group of journalists, visiting Leh to cover the Sindhu Darshan festival, were surprised when they had a first-hand experience of the hill.
The local administration has put up a billboard near the hill, stating that if a vehicle is stopped at a particular spot on the road and the engine is switched off, it will not slide down but move up.

When the Swaraj Mazda in which the journalists were travelling reached the particular point with the ignition switched off, the vehicle actually started moving upward at a speed of more than 20 km. Considering it to be a mere fluke, the journalists made the driver take the vehicle back to the same point. The same thing happened again. The exercise was repeated several times with the same result.

Locals and ITBP personnel, who man the Ladakh border with China, say that to escape the magnetic impact of the hill, helicopters and aircraft have to fly at a relatively greater height. Those aircraft which come into the radius of the hill face jerks similar to those witnessed during turbulence. A few kilometres from the hill is Gurdwara Patthar Sahib where Guru Gobind Singh, had meditated.

Maintained by the Army, the gurdwara is more of a place of prayer for the locals, Armymen and tourists. Not many Sikhs from other parts of the country visit it.
It is said when Guru Gobind Singh was meditating here, an evil spirit threw a rock from the hilltop at him. The rock did hit him, but Guru Gobind Singh was unhurt. However, the mark of the Guru was left on the rock which is still lying at the gurdwara.

The religious place remained unexplored for a long time and was developed only after the Army deputed its personnel for maintenance.
The hill is one of the several unique things in Ladakh. The hills and mountains in this region bear different colours.© 2010-2012 The Little Ganesha® All Rights Reserved. Subscribe in a reader

The Top Scariest place in India --- Bhangarh fort of Rajasthan

Bhangarh is a place on way from Jaipur to Alwar city in Rajasthan state of India. Today Bhangarh is known for its ruins where nobody dares to stay after sunset. Looking through history we find that this town was established by Madho Singh, younger brother of King Akbar’s General Raja Man Singh, in 1631. But the city seems to have been abandoned in a hurry some centuries later.
The local folks say that due to a curse the whole town was vacated overnight. According to the story of the curse, if the town was ever rediscovered the township would not be found, but only temples would show up.
True to the story only temples dot the landscape and even far up on the mountains only shrines can be seen. It is said that nobody returns from there who stays after dark.
By the Government of India rules there has to be an office of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) beside every historical structure in India. But even government authorities did not dare to open an office there. They opened their office about one kilometer away from the ruins of Bhangarh. Even this office is close to a temple because of this myth. ASI has put a signboard at Bhangarh saying, "Staying after sunset is strictly prohibited in this area."
People who visit this place out of tourist interest say that there is a strange feeling in the atmosphere of Bhangarh, which causes sort of anxiety and restlessness.
The story of this restlessness goes as the following. The charm of princess of Bhangarh Ratnawati was said to be matchless in entire Rajasthan. Being merely eighteen years old, the princess started getting wedding offers from other states. In the same region there also lived a tantrik, a magician using black magic, named Singhia who was desperately in love with the princess and who also knew that king would never even allow him to see the princess.
Once he saw princess's maid in the market buying scented oil for princess. Seeing this he got a wicked idea of getting the princess. He used his black magic and put a spell on the oil which would hypnotise the princess by her mere touching the oil and she would immedialely walk towards the tantrik to satisfy him sexually. But as soon as the princess got the oil she threw it on the block of a stone as she had seen the tantrik eying the oil. As soon as the oil touched the stone, the stone started rolling towards the wicked tantrik Singhia and crushed him. While dying Singhia cursed the palace that there will be such an incident that everybody in the palace would die and their souls will stay there for centuries without rebirth. The very next year there was a battle between Bhangarh-Ajabgarh and no one survived in the battle nor in the palace, not even the princess Ratnawati. Also the prime minister cursed Bhangarh that no one would settle there in future and whoever dares will die as well. It is said by the local villagers that whenever a house has been built there its roof has collapsed. It seems to be true because inside Bhangarh all the houses are without a roof and even at the closest village where people reside, they still have roofs made of straw but not bricks.

The 25 Facebook Groups with Over 1 Million Members

For those looking to find the next great app or campaign idea on Facebook, turning to what Facebook users are already doing on the site with the basic tools Facebook provides can often be instructive. So, what can we learn from the 25 Facebook Groups that have reached at least 1 million members?
  • Facebook users love to be a part of a group that’s about breaking records. Two of the largest groups on Facebook, including the largest at over 5.8 million members, are simply about forming the largest Facebook Group, and nothing more.
  • Facebook users love genealogy. Groups based on “social experiments” to see who’s related are very popular – much like some of the largest Facebook applications.
  • Facebook users love to use Facebook Groups to protest Facebook. Ironically, whenever there’s a big change on the site, most users use the site itself to protest the site, presumably because it offers the best functionality for building a movement.
  • Facebook Groups can be effectively used to promote causes.
  • Brands can subtly use Facebook groups for promotion. For example, Portaflores.com and Tramp Magazine both have groups with more than 1 million people. Users have also started Facebook Groups either supporting (1,000,000 Strong for Stephen T Colbert) or “against” (I Dont care How Comfortable Crocs Are, You Look Like A Dumbass) brands, too.
With the new Facebook redesign, Facebook Groups don’t have nearly as much visibility on the home page stream. This could be a great time for creative marketers to borrow some best practices for their campaigns. So, without further ado…
The 25 Facebok Groups with Over 1 Million Members
